Paula is the half-sister of Toni. She is a music producer who would have slept with Jeremy on their first meeting had it not been for him thinking she had cancer.
Much later, she re-enters Jeremy's life again as a love interest, and she needs to inform him that she has tested positive for chlamydia.

- Along with actor Sonny Muslim (who plays Clean Shirt Boy in Burgling) is one of two actors tied with the distinction of third-largest-hiatus-gap between Peep Show appearances, at 23 episodes. Interestingly enough, both of their prior appearances were in the series pilot Warring Factions and both of their second appearances were in Burgling. Only three other guest actors have a wider gap between sequential Peep Show appearances. They are: Tony Wadham (27 eps), Liam Noble (32 eps), and Catherine Shepherd (40 eps).
