Jamie is the younger brother of Sophie, and the son of Ian and Penny. He is played by Joe Van Moyland.
Jamie is socially awkward and "hasn't had a proper friend since he was 13," according to his own mother. He attended the University of Warwick but dropped out after a term. Due to some unknown reason he isn't allowed to shoot guns. He is a regular pot user, and his sister occasionally procures drugs for him (The Test).
He also idolizes Jeremy and is a big fan of his song, This is Outrageous, which Sophie once played for him. (Sophie's Parents). He is an aspiring musician like Jeremy, and Sophie drives him to shows, like the one in Guildford, so that he can maybe play a little bit at the end. This suggests that perhaps Jamie is a solo artist of some kind.
Sophie and Jamie are very far apart in age. He is also very similar both in appearance and personality to their cousin, Barney. (Spin War).

- It is revealed in Podcast Secrets of the Pharaohs a part in the episode Spin War was in fact intended for Joe Van Moyland as Jamie, reprising his role. When he became unavailable, a new character Barney, was born.
