Coming Up For Blair are a band from Croydon from the creative minds of Super Hans and Jeremy. It is one of the iterations of their constantly-forming-and-disbanding musical acts.
This band is one of two bands with the name "Blair" in it, the other being one of their earliest formations, The Hair Blair Bunch.
Controversy
Coming Up For Blair was put on hiatus in series 2 when Hans went off to front for Executioner's Bong, a move that was seen as controversial at the time, as the move meant abandonment to Jeremy (University Challenge). Jeremy attempted to assert his frustrations with Executioner's Bong while at a club in Dartmouth, leading to disastrous results.
As was the case with The Hair Blair Bunch, much of the in-band contention revolved around the fat that Jeremy was in charge of fronting the money for musical equipment. In this case the equipment in question was the "computery thing," which neither of them knew how to operate.
